Character Design
Cool Cats is an original animated web series currently in development.
I illustrated the characters using Adobe Illustrator and animation is currently being created in After Effects.
Bo
Wake, eat, receive scratches from the big loud naked cats, go to sleep. A perfect schedule, and one Bo adheres strictly to... until a new cat shows up offering something not on the itinerary: friendship.
Obie
Fresh out of the local shelter, Obie is the newest feline on the block. Obie's naive yet friendly demeanor often puts him front and center to Bo's ridicule. Although Bo decides to mentor him out of annoyance, Obie can't help think he's made a new friend.
Frank
The rats revere Frank as their leader and provide him with knowledge they obtain from discarded newspapers and bottle labels. Some may regard Frank as the coolest cat of all... though you'd probably just be hearing that from the rats.
Tee & Pin Design
Cool Cats is now being developed as an animated series, but the characters got their start as lapel pins and tee shirt designs sold in a limited run on getlapelpins.com and threadless.com.
